Samurai Saga is another metaverse game being developed by VRMETA. Samurai Saga’s most important aspect is its integration of our unique NFTs into the gameplay itself. Samurai Saga is an open-world RPG in our steam game, and a tower-defense style dungeon crawler in our mobile game.
Samurai Saga’s NFTs are filled with variety. Not only are the hats, backgrounds, clothings, facial features and hairstyles different, but each Samurai’s metadata also includes membership to one of 5 clans! Each of these clans has special abilities and traits, as outlined below:
Saorong — Saorong Clan has been living along with ONIs that inhabit Saorong region. Samurai from Saorong clan has a super-natural strength that resembles that of ONIs.
Saorong are the natural warriors of the Samurai Saga. Their difficulty is low and they deal shockwave damage to enemies.
Hinata — Hinata clan is known for their ability to use the power of Wind at the end of their swords. They are so swift, they are almost noiseless when they move and they are most feared among other clans’ samurais.
Hinatas are the assassins of the Samurai Saga. Their difficulty is high and they deal Wind damage.
Baumes — First ever clan to explore black magic. Not much is known about them since the whole clan’s decision to go underground and build their own underworld city.
Baumes samurai are known for their magic capabilities. Their difficulty is medium and they deal elemental and kinetic energy damage.
Oioi — Richest clan of the 5 and has formed the most civilized “kingdom” that’s been active in overseas politics and gold mining. Expansion has birthed internal clash and old school samurais have departed to form their own academies.
Oioi Samurai are renowned for their archery and political skills. Their difficulty is high, and their damage type is Critical.
Kensho — Scholars that explore the art of swordsmanship. Their long exploration in the area has made the Kensho clan the most worthy samurais of the Samurai King title. Out of 14 Kings that have existed, 6 have been from Kensho.
Kensho are the paladins of the Samurai Saga. They are expert swordsman with medium difficulty, and they deal Holy damage to foes.
Role of Clans in NFT minting
You might be wondering, “Well, there are five clans which is great. But how does that relate to smart contracts? What can I do to get a clan I like?”
VRMETA is planning to rollout the Samurai Saga NFT minting sale in 5 stages, each stage will allow a maximum public auction mint of 2000 NFTs. Each stage of the sale will be characterized by clan: Saorong in the first stage, Hinata in the next, and so on. So buyers should be paying attention to the schedule and be ready to bid as soon as possible to ensure they get a character from a clan they like. Of course it is possible to mint a Samurai from each Clan as well ^U^
